Want Homemade Pizza for Dinner but just don’t have the time or energy to make the dough & sauce? During one of these moments of wanting to make pizza for dinner verses not wanting to make the crust and definitely not wanting to buy “store-bought” pizza.

I needed an easy homemade pizza recipe without yeast in order to speed things up! Take a look at how to have HOMEMADE PIZZA READY IN A SHORT TIME….

Super quick and Super delicious way to have an almost instant Dinner!

HOMEMADE & DELICIOUS:

The secret ingredient is tortillas..….I have started using the Home-style Flour Tortillas instead of making pizza crust. A couple of wonderful benefits are individual pizzas can be easily made with several different toppings.

Plus, if you like less crust and more toppings or are watching your carbs, then this is definitely the way to go!!! So you can stop buying pizza and make this easy homemade pizza recipe!

This is such a great way to have it all……homemade pizza with all your favorite toppings but not all the work.

ADVANTAGES OF USING TORILLAS:

Advantages to using tortillas are you can chose the type you would like:

  • Homemade
  • Home-style Flour Tortillas
  • Whole Wheat
  • Low-Carb
  • Spinach
  • Tomato Basil
  • ……lots of great choices in tortillas!

To make your own Tortillas:

Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe:

  • 6 to 8 Home-style Flour Tortillas
  • Pasta Sauce, Tomato or Pizza Sauce – 2 cups
  • Browned Sausage or Hamburger  2 – Cups (optional)
  • Chopped  Fresh Kale or Spinach 2-Cups
  • 1 can Black Olives-drained
  • 3+/- cups Grated Cheese
  • Sprinkling of Mixed Dried Herbs , Italian Seasonings or Oregano

Arrange thawed flour tortillas on steel baking sheet. Evenly divide and spread pasta or pizza sauce on each tortillas. Divide the next 3 ingredients evenly among the tortilla pizzas and then top with grated cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Carefully watch the edges of the tortillas so they do not burn. Remove from oven when bottom of tortillas are starting to brown and the grated cheese has melted.

Cut individual pizza into 8 slices each with pizza cutter. And, enjoy!!!

Please Note: make sure the bottoms of the tortillas are somewhat browned as this crispiness aids in being able to pick the individual pieces up for easy eating!!

Additional Topping Combinations and Ideas:

  • Pepperoni, Fresh Mushrooms and Black Olives
  • Canadian Bacon or Ham and Pineapple
  • Kale, Feta Cheese, Black Olives & Scallions
  • Cherry Tomatoes, Feta Cheese & Mushrooms
  • Artichoke Hearts, Chicken & Mushrooms
  • Small Red or Purple Potatoes, Mushrooms and Green Pepper
  • Red Pepper, Pineapple, Shallots & Kale

The combinations are almost endless!

Homemade Tortillas Pizza

Ingredients

  • 8 Home-style Flour Tortillas
