Homemade Protein Powder | Easy Fresh Ground Recipe
This HOMEMADE PROTEIN POWDER is perfect for adding fresh-ground protein to shakes, smoothies, recipes, or as a instant breakfast cereal! This easy recipe for protein powder is a sure winner!

Fresh Homemade Protein Powder
Homemade protein powder is a healthy option when compared to store-bought versions. While many store options have quality ingredients they are still considered ultra-processed.
I always wondered how prepackaged (processed) protein powders could be healthy since real foods, when processed, lose their nutrients over time.
Even organic protein powders can be considered ultra-processed due to how they are made. So, this easy, fresh-ground protein powder recipe might just be a better solution for you than the commercial products available today.
After researching, I couldn’t find a homemade organic protein powder that I could grind fresh each time. So I began experimenting with different combination of whole nuts and seeds. I ran the quantities through Cron-O-Meter to get the nutritional values that I was looking for. The ingredients that I decided on are as follows:

This is a great post! I’m looking forward to trying this one. Thank you for sharing your research and recipe!
I am so glad you wrote. Certainly hope you love this Fresh Ground Protein Powder as much as I do!
would this work for baking, like muffins and /or pancakes?
Good Idea! I have not tried this but consider adding a tablespoon or two to your batter and see how it turns out. If you like it and decide to add more, simply reduce your flour down a little but make sure to keep the same consistency of the batter. Nice way to add extra protein! Thanks for writing!
Thank you for the PP recipe. I would love if you could come up with a collagen recipe that I could trust, (from you, I do). There are so many out there.
My major need is for my finger nails. They are thin and like onion skins.
Please and Thank you.
I’m so glad you’re loving the Protein Powder recipe! That’s fantastic news!
Collagen Info
Thanks for asking about collagen! I haven’t created a recipe for it yet, but I’ve found a great product on Amazon that my family enjoys. This collagen has worked really well for us. Since I’m an Amazon Associate, I can share the link with you through my blog! The collagen that we use is Horbaach Multi Collagen Protein Powder. It is very reasonably priced and comes in a 2 pound container. Take a look and see if this is something that might work for you!

hi i am looking forward to try out the receipe once I have all the ingredients, however I just want to ask you, in the above recipe I believe you haven’t roasted the seeds, is it a good idea to roast all seeds, cool, grind and then mix the milk powder,,, would u recommend this??
I have not roasted my seeds or nuts. It seems as there are pros and cons on both sides. I have simply used the raw seeds and nuts. IF you do roast some of your ingredients, please let me know what you think! Thanks!
