Healthy Skinny Organic Brownies: Lowfat & Delicious

You may also try reducing the amount of oil in the recipe by substituting an equal amount of applesauce.

These brownies are delicious and easy to make. They take about 30 minutes, including baking time.
You can also make Brownie Bites in mini muffin tins for a quicker treat!

Healthy Skinny Organic Brownies
First, gather your ingredients:

Easy Healthy Homemade Brownie Recipe:
- 1/3 cup Avocado Oil Avocado Oil
- 1/2 cup Coconut Sugar Big Tree Farms Organic Coconut Palm Sugar or use what sugar you have on hand.
- 1/3 cup organic cocoa powder Rapunzel Pure Organic Cocoa Powder,
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 Fresh Eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup Unbleached White or Whole Wheat Flour* I use Jovial 100% Organic Einkorn Whole Wheat Flour 32oz
- 1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt
- 1/4 cup Organic Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Semi-Sweet Organic Chocolate Chips, 9 oz
(*You can use part unbleached white flour and part whole wheat in place of all whole wheat)
Easy Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the Avocado Oil and coconut sugar, cane sugar, and vanilla. Stir to mix.
- Then add eggs mixing until just combined.
- And, now add the Einkorn Flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Mix until all ingredients are just combined.

Pour batter in an oiled 7″ x 11″ baking pan. Sprinkle evenly with the chocolate chips. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Or, bake in a glass pie plate to make 12 wedge-shaped servings.
If making individual brownies in mini muffin tins, reduce baking time to 12 to 15 minutes.

Cool brownies in pan on a wire rack for 25 minutes. Cut into squares…..and enjoy!!

Homemade Skinny Brownie
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Avocado Oil
- 1/2 cup Organic Coconut Palm Sugar or use whatever type of sugar you have on hand
- 1/3 cup Organic Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Fresh Eggs
- 3/4 cup Einkorn Unbleached or 100% Whole Wheat Flour (or use part unbleached white flour + part whole wheat)
- 1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Organic Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine Avocado Oil, coconut sugar and vanilla. Stir to mix.
- Next, add eggs mixing until just combined.
- Now, add the Einkorn Flour, cocoa powder, salt and milk or water. Mix until all ingredients are just combined.
- Top brownie batter with chocolate chips, or walnuts, if desired!
- Pour batter in an oiled 7" x 11" baking pan or round pie plate. Sprinkle evenly with the chocolate chips. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Watch carefully and do not overbake.

- Also, concern baking your brownies in a glass pie plate. Cut into 12 wedges to serve!
- If making Mini Brownie Bites, If making individual brownie in mini muffin tins, reduce baking time to 12 to 15 minutes. Test for doneness. Cool in muffin tins for 10 minutes and carefully pop out of tins.

You are so correct! The applesauce is now optional…My apologies. I have been working on making my brownie recipe with less sugar and less fat to reduce the overall calorie content and it is working!
