.Essential oils can reduce the strong smell of vinegar, especially if you dislike it. I’ve found that peppermint oil is the most effective at masking the vinegar odor.

DIY Daily Shower Spray Recipe: 16 oz.

You’ll need:

• 1 cup white vinegar
• ½ cup rubbing alcohol (70% is perfect)
• 1 teaspoon Dawn Dish Soap
• 10+/- drops peppermint essential oil
• 1 1/2 cups distilled water
• An empty clean sprayer bottle (I use this continuous spray bottle!)

• Easy Continuous Misting Spray Bottle

Instructions:

1. Pour the vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and water into your 16 oz spray bottle.
2. Add 1 teaspoon dish soap
3. Add 10 drops of peppermint essential oil.
4. Secure the spray top and gently shake to combine.
5. Label the bottle and store it in your bathroom.

That’s it! The whole process takes less than five minutes.

How to Use

Once you’re done showering, give the walls, doors, and fixtures a light misting. No rinsing or wiping required; simply allow it to air dry. Using it every day gives the best results. This simple trick will help keep your shower clean, and it won’t take much time.
