NUTRIENTS IN MOLASSES

What You Will Need
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Einkorn Flour or Any Type of Wheat Flour
- 1 cup of Sugar
- 1/2 cup of Blackstrap Molasses
- 1/2 cup of Oil (discover the healthiest cooking oils)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- Spices – 1 teaspoon of each of the following: cinnamon, ginger, allspice & cloves
- 1 cup of Boiling Water
Instructions:
- Cream the oil and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the 2 eggs and mix
- Add the molasses and mix
- Sift together the flour, soda, salt and spices
- Add to creamed mixture and mix until well combines
- Carefully stir in the 1 cup of boiling water
- Pour into a greased 7 x 11 inch oblong baking pan
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until finished at 350 degrees
- Cool for at least 15 minutes
- This is so delicious, doubling the batch is a great idea!
If you double the batch, bake the gingerbread cake in a 11 x 13 inch greased pan!
