Here are the super simple, super easy steps:
- Remove the packaging from the bacon (I prefer Simple Truth Uncured Bacon).
- Line a cookie sheet with Unbleached Parchment Paper
- Place the bacon strips on a wire rack set on the cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes, then flip the strips and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Check that each strip is fully cooked.
- Take the cookie sheet out of the oven and transfer the bacon to paper towels to soak up extra grease.
- Let the bacon cool completely on the paper towels.
- Take 2 new paper towels and place one slice of bacon on the edge. Roll each slice in the paper towel.
- Once all slices are rolled up, put them in a plastic bag and freeze until needed.
- To reheat, take out the desired number of slices and heat them in a skillet.
- Save the bacon grease for your Homemade Doggie Biscuits
The first step in how to cook bacon in the oven is to remove bacon from packaging and place slices on a wire rack on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
If you do not have a wire rack, simply bake directly on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Baking Times:
Next, bake for approximately 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn each slice over and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes. Make sure each slice is fully cooked.

Use 2 sheets of paper towels. Place the first slice of bacon on the edge. Fold the towels over once and place another slice of bacon on the edge.

Continue until you have rolled each slice up in the paper towels.

Now put the bundle of precooked bacon in a plastic bag and freeze until needed.

Reheat the bacon on a skillet or in a pan as you are making the rest of your breakfast.
If you do not like using plastic, consider freezing your pre-cooked bacon in glass canning jars or waxed cloth wraps and bags!
